How To Use Wax Melts

Safety Tips and Information

To ensure you get the maximum results from your Glasgow melts wax melts whilst maintaining a safety at all times.

Glasgow wax melts should only be used in an appropriate wax melt burner.

The number 1 rule is to never leave a in-use Bruner unattended at any time.

What is a wax melt?

Wax melts are small, scented pieces of wax designed to be gently heated to release their fragrance. They are like candles but without the wick, meaning that they require a wax warmer to melt and diffuse the fragrance. When in use, they melt completely to create an even scent distribution. Glasgow melts Wax Melts come in a 5 cell snap bar, which can be snapped and separated into individual blocks. We recommend using 1-2 pieces at a time, (1oz pot we recommend breaking in half). Wax melts are excellent for smaller rooms like bedrooms and bathrooms. The intensity of fragrance will depend on your room size and how much wax you use.

How to use a wax melt

1. Set up your wax melt burner on a flat surface.

2. Ensure that the top dish is clean.

3. Break up your choice of scent wax. To ensure an even melt and fragrance distribution. We recommend popping one or two blocks into the dish for optimum fragrance throw.

4. Light your tealight and place inside of the burner. (we strongly recommended 4-hour tealight)

5. Enjoy hours of long-lasting fragrance!
