Welcome to Glasgow Melts!

Please read our Terms & Conditions before placing an order. By purchasing from our website, you agree to the terms outlined below. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

1. Orders & Products

All Glasgow Melts products are carefully prepared and packaged.

We aim to provide accurate product descriptions, fragrance information and photographs. As many of our products are handmade, slight variations in colour and appearance may occur.

All orders are subject to availability. If we are unable to fulfil your order, we will contact you to arrange an alternative or refund.

2. Delivery & Collection

We aim to prepare and dispatch orders within 3 working days.

UK standard delivery costs £3.29 and is sent via Evri. Delivery usually takes approximately 2–3 working days after dispatch.

Free standard delivery is available on orders over £30 using discount code FREE30.

Only one discount code can be applied per order.

Free local collection is available from the East End of Glasgow. Orders should be collected within 10 days of notification that they are ready.

3. Returns & Cancellations

We want you to be happy with your Glasgow Melts purchase.

Your Right to Cancel

For most online purchases, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason.

To exercise this right, please email [email protected] within the cancellation period.

You then have a further 14 days to return the goods.

Our 30-Day Returns Policy

In addition to your statutory rights, we offer a 30-day change-of-mind returns policy from the date you receive your order.

For returns made under this additional policy, products must be unused, undamaged and returned in their original packaging where reasonably possible.

Please contact us before returning an item.

This additional policy does not affect your statutory cancellation rights.

4. Personalised Products

Products made to your individual specifications or clearly personalised may be excluded from the usual change-of-mind cancellation rights.

However, if a personalised product arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, your statutory consumer rights still apply.

5. Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, please contact us at [email protected].

Where possible, include your order number and photographs of the issue so we can investigate promptly.

We will arrange an appropriate refund, replacement or other remedy in accordance with your statutory rights.

Where goods are faulty or incorrect, Glasgow Melts will cover reasonable return postage costs where a return is necessary.

6. Refunds

Once we have received your returned item, or appropriate proof of its return, we will process any refund due.

Refunds will be made to your original payment method, normally within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or evidence that they have been sent back, whichever is earlier.

For cancellations under your statutory rights, we will also refund the original standard delivery charge where applicable.

Any reduction in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the goods may be deducted where permitted by law.

7. Sale & Discounted Items

Sale and discounted items are covered by the same statutory consumer rights as full-priced products.

Eligible online purchases may still be cancelled within the legal cancellation period.

Our additional 30-day change-of-mind returns policy also applies to sale items unless a specific exclusion is clearly stated before purchase.

8. Return Postage

For change-of-mind returns, customers are responsible for the direct cost of return postage, unless otherwise agreed.

We recommend obtaining proof of postage and using a tracked service.

If an item is faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied, we will cover reasonable return costs where legally required.

Please contact us before returning your order so we can provide return instructions.

9. Wax Melt Safety

Our wax melts are intended for use in suitable wax melt burners only.

Please follow the safety instructions provided with your products and the manufacturer's instructions for your burner.

Wax melts are not edible and must be kept away from children and pets.

Fragrance ingredients and allergen information are available on our website.
